Irvine CubeSat is using Kromek GR1 detectors in space.
The Irvine CubeSat Program, powered by the Irvine Public Schools Foundation, is a STEM initiative based in Irvine, California to launch a solar-powered CubeSat. Kromek has been working with CubeSat team to find the perfect gamma spectrometer launch into orbit.
