Using the latest in Drone technology and Kromek's GR1, the team from Bristol University Took to the skies of Fukushima in Japan and the result was epic!

With Everest Base Camp in his sights, Bob Kerr, needed the Kromek GR1 Detector to measure the background radiation at various altitudes.

Working in partnership with Denmark's National Space Institute, Kromek are developing a new generation of 3D scanners for breast cancer detection using CZT Detector Technology first developed for Space exploration.
