GR1

The world's smallest and highest resolution room temperature gamma ray spectrometer

The GR1 is a CTZ-based high performance gamma-ray spectrometer. It is completely self-contained, with a built in preamplifier, shaping amplifier, baseline restorer, pulse height digitizer, and HV supply. The digitized pulse heights of detected gamma-ray signals are sent to a PC via the USB.

The GR1 comes with KSpect, Kromek’s entry level windows based software, built for detailed sample and spectral analysis. KSpect, which is available to download here, free of charge, provides the spectrum acquisition, display, analysis, and storage functions.

GR1+

For users who are working in a multi source environment and need a better resolution, the GR1 Plus (+) is available. The plus model has a better resolution allowing users who are measuring multiple peaks to differentiate between them more accurately than with the GR1. The user is then able to determine a more precise measure of the number of counts relating to the peaks they are analysing.
