Biotechnology or Biomedical Project Scientist/Engineer
The current COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted that we are ill equipped to monitor and track the evolution of emergent pathogens, and we fail to be proactive in the management of outbreaks. Kromek is looking for a full-time permanent Project Engineer to join the growing Biotechnology group. Working with the rest of the team, the Engineer will lead the design, development, manufacture and assessment of the automation hardware as well as owning all form factor and enclosure designs.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Coordinator, based in our Head Office, Sedgefield – UK, who will be supporting and coordinating activities within the sales department.
Sales Manager CBRN – Europe
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager based in Europe who will be responsible for selling Kromek’s D3S radiation detectors to CBRN customers. You will be identifying potential users per country, promoting the products to them and building customer relationships.
We have an opportunity for an Application Engineer to join our Sales team. You will be developing new applications for Kromek products, working within the different markets to collect requirements and identify new opportunities.
We have an opportunity for an Experimental Physicist with knowledge and experience in radiation or particle detection to join our team and play a leading role in the development of an innovative molecular breast imaging system based on semiconductor CZT detectors. We aim to use this technology to screen for breast cancer in women with dense breasts, replacing mammography for this application. The position is a part of a large medical imaging project aiming to combine a new radiation detection system design with innovative image reconstruction theory and algorithms to reduce the patient radiation dose and the scan time.
The Mechatronics Engineer will be responsible for the engineering hardware implementation. Working with the rest of the team, the Mechatronics Engineer will lead the design, development, manufacture and assessment of the automation hardware as well as owning all form factor and enclosure design.
Vacancies in Zelienople, USA
Business Development Manager – Nuclear Radiation Detection
This critical position will drive growth for the company’s radiation detection products in Nuclear Security and Defence sectors in the Americas. This will be achieved by building influence and technology adoption at government agencies, through technology and commercial alliances with industry stakeholders. This role builds customer relationships and negotiates, closes and executes on commercial agreements.
This position will deliver both innovation and continuous improvement in Kromek’s compound semiconductor radiation detectors through a detailed understanding of semiconductor and surface properties and their implications through device performance and into applications performance.
