RayMon10 radiation detectors

Handheld device to search for and identify nuclear isotopes for in-field or lab use

RayMon10 rugged CZT-based isotope detector

Handheld gamma detector - rugged isotope identifier

A powerful and rugged handheld gamma detector for high-resolution radioactive isotope identification. The RayMon10 is one of the most powerful and rugged handheld radiation monitors in the world. It can be used to detect, measure and accurately identify gamma-ray emitting radionuclides, providing high-resolution isotope identification using the latest CZT solid-state detector technology. It is an all in one solution to your gamma radionuclide identification needs

It can output a variety of reports including date/time, user handheld ID, photo and audio note, GPS positioning, radiation spectra and isotope identification.

Variations in normal operating conditions can often affect the performance of radio-isotope identification, the RayMon10’s advanced one cubic centimetre CZT coplanar grid detector provides more stable performance than scintillation-type detectors.

RayMon10

Rugged CZT-based isotope detector

Rugged handheld easy to grip RayMon10 tablet, with a GR1 gamma-ray detector spectrometer enabling users to detect, measure and accurately identify gamma-ray emitting radionuclides, providing high-resolution isotope identification.

RayMon10 Quant

Perfect for quantitative volumetric analysis

A RayMon10 handheld gamma detector with a radbeaker. This enables users to use it with distributed (soil, building material sample, liquid waste) and point (air sampling filters, calibration sources) source samples.

Optional extras

GR05 probe

This is a Raymon10 probe with a GR radiation detector with a smaller CZT crystal (0.5 cubic centimetres) for use on a nuclide source which is more active with a higher dose rate.

Extra equipment

  • Docking station.
  • Extra Radbeakers.
  • Extra probes.

Gamma Spectroscopy software

If you need to do more detailed analysis than can be done on the tablet for example, to compare readings over time, look at readings from more than one detector, etc. you can use Kromek’s gamma spectroscopy software and import data straight from the Raymon10.

Yes they do measure “ambient equivalent dose rate in H*(10)”.

The RayMon10 uses a single CZT semiconductor detector. There is no scintillator and a PMT is not required.

Gamma dose rates are mesured up to 1mSv/hr at 662keV
