Sales Channel Manager for Homeland Security and Civil Nuclear sectors

An exciting opportunity for an ambitious, energetic, driven and highly analytical sales management professional with a natural passion for sales.

The Sales Channel Manager is responsible for leading the sales strategy for Kromek’s effort in identifying new application opportunities across Homeland Security and civil nuclear sectors. They will manage/support/conduct sector specific sales activities including market analysis, channel development and management, sales reporting and developing the customer base, and responsible for the line management of UK, Europe and Asia based sales team.

Successfully suited applicants will reflect the following profile:

  • Proven track record of consultative sales and channel development (distribution, agency and representatives).
  • Experience working with international distributors and channel partners.
  • Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the Kromek’s Security and Nuclear product lines.
  • Working knowledge and experience with large Government contracts, tenders and management process.
  • Experience liaising with local governments, homeland security and civil servants.
  • Proven skills in strategic planning, international sales & market development and market research promotion/advertising to drive profitable business growth.
  • Highly analytical and driven sales management professional.
  • High self-motivation with the ability to work independently and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally – appreciation of culture and local ways of doing business in international markets.
  • Sales systems and management, CRM, reporting etc.
  • Experience in managing and motivating sales team on multiple locations to drive results.
  • Expand the presence of Kromek within Homeland Security and Civil Nuclear markets across the UK, Europe and Asia.
  • Set and execute channel strategy and manage sales processes.
  • Develop the sales channel, building relationships with channel partners.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers identifying areas for growth with key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for developing and executing specific marketing plans (market assessment, development, maintenance, competition) in conjunction with the marketing team.
  • Attend trade shows to identify new customers and create market awareness.
  • Responsible for effective internal communication to manage external factors & relationships.
  • Attend Kromek staff meetings when requested.
  • Bilingual in English and another language preferred in either French or German.
